Hinduism is the main religion of India. Its was founded over 5000 year ago. It worship various gods and goddesses. Also the religion says that only three gods rule the world:
Shiva
The creator Brahma, The preserver Vishnu and the destroyer Shiva. Each of the three rulers have their own consortium - the goddesses.

Hinduism worship different idols, but many people believe in only one God. Others believe that idols are the wrong interpretation of Hindu. One of the main things which the religion preaches is reincarnation. Karma as Indians call it, is the basic point of the reincarnation. It is said that souls will be awarded if their Karma is good, but if the Karma is bad the souls will be punished for their sins. Also the good soul can be given Moksha or freedom.

Hinduism has four different castes. Each is divided into sub-classes. The religious word for caste is Varna. Castes have their own strict duty. They also have professional limits that the followers can be decided and must comply. It applies even for marriage and eating with other members of the same caste. Many people think that social and religious caste is the same thing, but actually is very different.

Hindu started from the meeting between the Aryans and Dravidians. But before Hindu only Brahmanism exited as a religion in India. Brahmans were were the spiritual and moral Indian society and very close sect. But fearing to loose their status as guides of the priests, in this case because of the brand new religion called Buddihism, Brahmans started to accept others into their group and then as a result Hinduism emerged.
